Hey! I’m looking for a few second photographers to help me with some 2024 wedding dates. I love working with a second photographer because it means my couples get a variety of angles and in the end, more amazing photos! This is one of the reasons why I have made the decision to include a second photographer with all of my wedding packages!
As a second shooter for Photography By Bri, you’ll come along and be a part of the wedding day. We’ll shoot alongside each other for the majority of the time, and there will also be some parts of the day where I will need you to shoot some things solo, such as if the couple is getting ready separately. You may also assist me with lining up family members for family portraits according to the couples shot list!
You will not be responsible for editing any of the photos from the couple’s wedding day unless you would like to edit the photos that you took to help promote your own work and use them on social media!
As a second shooter for Photography By Bri, you must:
Be reliable and punctual
Maintain a professional attitude and work well under pressure
Be able to be on your feet and shoot for 8-10 hours
Have two full-frame camera bodies (canon preferred but not required)
Have a flash and be familiar with using it or willing to learn/practice prior to being hired
Have some prior wedding experience

Compensation:
The Second Shooter pay rate starts at $35/hour. Payment is made per wedding. Hours of coverage vary. Experience is also considered.
Some weddings may include travel. I compensate for travel if any of the wedding day locations results in you traveling 50 minutes or further from home. For every 50 minutes traveled, the second shooter will receive $25 as compensation. For example: If a wedding is 50 minutes away, the second shooter will be compensated $50 considering travel to and from the venue.
